For a straight shawl, keep shawl width to more than 20 inches. Length is optional but inches 65 to 70 works well.
For a shoulder shawls or a triangular shawl, make it long and wide enough to wrap around body comfortably.
For a small blanket, lapghan or throw, a good dimension is 36 -40 inches wide by 38 to 50 inches in length. You do not need to be exact, just a ballpark around those dimensions.
Use any yarn type or size. Our recommendation is a washable yarn.
Quilted or sewn shawls or small blankets may also be donated for distribution.
